I simply adore this film. I watched it four times and every time I fell
deeper in love with it. A strange story with a profound and sweet vein
of Buddhism running through it that lets you wonder and think over and
about it for a very long time. Some scenes sublimely recall the
importance of the beauty of simple daily things like the sunlight. The
casting was the best ever: I was amazed how often the protagonist (Rufus
Sewell) needed for his acting nothing else but his eyes. I guessed he
could be a theatre actor, I didn't know him before but he was superb in
the role of John Murdoch William Hurt, Jennifer Connelly, Kiefer
Sutherland and all the others do their job pretty well. I recommend this
passionate film to all dreamers who believe that the beauty of human
kind, with its memories, differences and unexpectedness, it's always
worth a revolution against the dark monotony of totalitarian manipulators.
